Avec sa 50ème édition, it is a unique opportunity to take part in the party to celebrate the existence of this marathon and its unrivaled experience. Previous marathon world record, was broken for the second time in 2022 by Kipchoge, the marathon route the envy of runners around the world. You are a seasoned marathon runner, a runner wishing to complete your first marathon or a guide; the Berlin marathon is for you. Marathon presentation
Marathon of all records, THE Berlin Marathon offers an ideal course for everyone. Whether it is to enjoy the city without a car for the duration of a race, achieve a particular objective or even start in the marathon discipline, each participant will find what they are looking for. With his almost zero difference in altitude, the BMW Berlin marathon attracts more and more athletes each year. It is also for these reasons that Berlin holds the former world record over the legendary distance of 42.195 km in 2h 01m and 9s, for the second time in 2022. He has set 10 world records since 1977.
We therefore understand that the Berlin marathon was completely his place in the 6 majors. Beyond speed, runners appreciate the tour in the center of the city where spectators gather to encourage them. Nearly 1 million people meet along the route. It’s a real experience for those accompanying athletes. With these 70 live music groups, an unforgettable atmosphere up to the last 400 meters is guaranteed.
The marathon organization offers you a start and finish line in the heart of the city on Strasse des 17 Juin. This will be an opportunity for you to pass many emblematic places in the capital with the 44,000 athletes present at the start of the marathon. After running through the most beautiful streets of the city, you will be overwhelmed by emotion at the last turn, for your last kilometer, when you will spot the unique and sensational arrival near the famous Brandenburg Gate. Built on the boundary between East and West Berlin, it is the symbol of the new unified Berlin. There you will find a compact crowd tirelessly cheering you on for your latest efforts. Once you have crossed the finish line, a finisher medal will be given to you in order to keep a indelible memory of this sporting challenge.
On the logistics side, during the course, you will benefit from liquid supplies every 3 km and solid with fruit every 6 kilometers. This will be valid from the 9th km as at the start and finish of the marathon.

Please note that your bib will be collected at the marathon expo no later than the day before the event. The finisher or BMW event T-shirt is optional for the Berlin marathon. So remember to book it. • Deposit of half of the trip to be paid upon booking. The balance must be paid 75 days before departure at the latest.
