TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS 2027
The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is the seventh Abbott World Marathon Major and the only one with a finish line in front of the Sydney Opera House. It features a spectacular course: starting on the Harbour Bridge with panoramic views of the bay, passing through the Royal Botanic Garden and the city’s iconic neighborhoods, before reaching the finish line facing one of the world’s most photographed landmarks. For runners collecting Abbott Majors, Sydney is the ultimate prize.
Planet-Tours offers two options: a 15-day tour combining Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Cairns, and the Great Barrier Reef, or a 6-day race-focused stay. Both include a guaranteed TCS race bib, selected accommodations, a French-speaking guide, and on-site support. Experience Australia as you’ve always dreamed.

Presentation of the TCS Sydney Marathon
The TCS Sydney Marathon is scheduled for August 29, 2027. Make the most of a trip to Australia by running the magnificent Sydney Marathon—an event created for the 2000 Olympic Games that has since joined the ranks of the World Marathon Majors. The organizers offer an ideal course: you will start by running across the Harbour Bridge—the city’s iconic landmark—taking in some of the best views, before continuing through the city and along Sydney Harbour. You will also have the chance to run through several city parks, including the Royal Botanic Garden, each offering a unique atmosphere. Finally, you will cross the finish line in front of the city’s other great icon: the famous Sydney Opera House. As you can see, the marathon route allows you to experience the city from every angle.
On race day, participants will take advantage of public transport. It’s the easiest way to get to the start and finish areas, which aren’t right next door to each other. Supporters can meet finishers near the opera house. The organization will provide water refreshments every 2, 3km. You can pick up your number directly at the marathon expo.
After the marathon, you can enjoy your victory, medal around your neck, over a drink and the atmosphere of the port. After the effort, the comfort! For the rest of your stay, discover some of the wonders of this country through a tour. Discover our tour 😉
