Come run the Quebec City marathon and take advantage of your stay in Eastern Canada to discover this region through a circuit created especially for you to make the most of this region while running your event.
The Quebec City Marathon will take place in October 2024, giving you the best time to run. Neither too hot nor too cold, as a Quebecer would tell you. The organization offers three courses so everyone can find their favorite sport. Beyond the traditional 42.195 km, you have the option of participating in a half-marathon or a 10 km.
The SSQ Quebec City Marathon will start in Old Quebec City, on René Levesque Boulevard. You’ll have the opportunity to run through the city center with the Parliament Building, the Château Frontenac, the Notre-Dame Basilica, and more in the background before reaching the Saint-Charles riverbank. You’ll then reach the banks of the Saint-Laurent River before returning to the city and crossing the finish line on Grande Allée E and its intersection with Rue de la Chevrotière. With its course containing some elevation changes, you’ll be delighted with your performance and your medal awarded at the finish.
If you prefer a shorter distance, the organization also offers a half marathon and a 10 km race. The start and finish points are located at the same location as the marathon. With nearly 10,000 participants, this sporting event attracts more and more running enthusiasts every year. A T-shirt is given to all participants.
Beyond the athletic challenge, runners and companions traveling with Planet Tours enjoy the Eastern Canadian tour that follows. With our 10-night package in the region, the customs and traditions of our neighbors across the Atlantic will no longer hold any secrets for you.
