Marathon presentation
Running the Valencia marathon, this is the opportunity for you to set a good time over the marathon distance with almost no difference in altitude, ultra flat and ultra fast. THE perfect conditions to set a personal best. If you are running your first marathon, it is also ideal for you, in order to better understand the discipline. All the participants will tell you, the organization is very well put together whether for the refreshment points, the atmosphere or even the choice of the flat course.
For this 44th marathon edition, the city will welcome you madly on December 6 to enjoy optimal temperatures (between 12 and 17°C). With 5,000 more marathon runners on the starting line this year, the reputation of this popular race has continued to grow since the first edition in 1981. At the start of the race, Le number of participants now reaches 30,000 people. There is no doubt that it is one of the most anticipated running events in Spain, along with the Barcelona and Madrid marathons.
The start and finish lines of the marathon are located in the heart of the City of Arts and Sciences. The modern and futuristic architecture of this city is in the spotlight during this weekend. It is notably the center of all events related to the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon. Whether to collect your bib, discover the marathon exhibition, take advantage of the prize giving and the podium or even participate in the Pasta Party (or rather the Paella Party: welcome to Spain 😊), this monument is the central point .
Start the marathon and enjoy this Valencian experience. After the last kilometers, you will return, once again, to the city of Arts and Sciences to crossing the finish line on the bridge of dreams over the water with the blue carpet rolled out under your feet. A unique moment that you will not soon forget. Congratulations ! It's the end of the race. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a medal.
If you want accompany the group to encourage the runners, you are welcome. In addition to an opportunity to discover the rich history of this city, it will be an opportunity for you to enjoy the festive atmosphere of this marathon.
To participate in the Valencia marathon, you do not need a medical certificate. If you have no contraindications to running, simply fill out the registration form by clicking on BOOK! – If you are traveling alone and request to share your room with another runner, we will try to accommodate your request provided that we have another participant who has expressed the same wish. Otherwise, you will be moved back to a single room at the single room rate. We cannot offer you triple and quadruple rooms when traveling alone. If you select these types of rooms, please be aware that we will not be able to satisfy your request and that administrative fees will be retained to reimburse your registration.
– Triple rooms consist of a double bed and a single bed. They are only offered to people who know each other well or to families.

With 4 and 5 stars respectively, our hotels will guarantee you ideal comfort for your marathon trip. You will be able to appreciate its equipped rooms and their adapted bedding, but also take advantage of the amenities offered by the accommodation such as its restaurants or even its terrace and its swimming pool for the SH Valencia Palace.
Located a 20-minute walk from the start and finish of the Valencia Marathon, their locations will allow you to easily access them, whether for runners or accompanying people.
Furthermore, they will facilitate your walking city tours and in particular those of the old historic district of the city in 15 minutes. If necessary, you can find bus lines near the building.
