Marathon presentation
With over 12000 participants, le marathon de Séville attracts masses of athletes every year. Her mild winter climate and its ideal location protected from the wind, have made it a very popular event for Spanish and foreign marathon runners.
Furthermore, with a start and finish line of the marathon on the Paseo de las Deliciass, the organization of the Seville marathon offers you a very flat course, ideal for achieving great performances and good time. It is one of the fastest in Europe. You will have the opportunity to run through the city. The organization provides you with several liquid supplies during the first half of the event to benefit from solid foods (banana or other) during the second half of the marathon.
On the last kilometers, you will have the opportunity to run in the narrower streets of the old town where you can enjoy the atmosphere that emanates from it. You will cross, in particular, the famous Plaza de España, the Giralda, the Torre del Oro and La Maestranza. Between the environment, the climate and the circuit, Seville will satisfy all runners and those accompanying them. The latter can easily enjoy the marathon route at different locations. Once you cross the finish line, you will receive your finisher medal and be proud to wear it.
Furthermore, as far as preparations are concerned, please note that our representative will offer you a group meeting, if you wish, in order to go to the marathon expo located outside of town. It is there that you can remove your bib like the T-shirt of the marathon. This is also the location where the Pasta Party takes place, although it's a bit of a drive to eat from the hotel.

Our hotel
GIRALDA CENTER 4*
To make your stay more comfortable, we have selected a 4* hotel, the GIRALDA CENTER. Located in full city center, you will benefit from a strategic location to conquer Seville. Plan 15 min walk to reach Seville Cathedral, the Maestranza bullring or the Guadalquivir River.
Although you won't need transportation to explore the city's main attractions, the nearest tram station is less than 5 minutes away. You can get lost in the streets to easily return by transport to the hotel.
For the rejoindre les départs et arrivées du marathon de Séville, vous devrez marcher 20 min from the hotel. Whether you are a runner or a guide, it will be easy to manage your schedule on the days of the marathon with complete freedom for your greatest pleasure.
