With his almost flat route along the banks of the Tagus, you will enjoy your running which will take you over 42,195 kms at the gates of Lisbon, the bustling city in southern Portugal. The finish of the marathon is planned on the beautiful Place du Commerce facing the banks which run along the city. Do you prefer a shorter distance? No problem, the Lisbon half-marathon and its 8.5 km are also offered to you.

Marathon presentation
The EDP Lisbon Marathon takes place in October in order to benefit from ideal climatic conditions for an ideal course. Its departure is located in Cascais, on the outskirts of Lisbon. As for the route, it takes place along one of the most beautiful road on the coast and its sea air to finish in the historic center of the capital. Take advantage of this walking race to discover the Tagus from another side. Finally you will pass the finish line at Lisbon's Commerce Square. Enough to end this very popular event in apotheosis.
As for the Lisbon half-marathon and mini marathon (8.5 km), as they like to call it, their starting line is located on the famous Vasco da Gama bridge. It is the longest bridge in Portugal and more generally in Europe. They will allow you to enjoy an incomparable view of the megalopolis.
These tours have been designed to highlight this sublime city which attracts more and more French runners every year!
On a practical level, T-shirts and bibs will be collected at the marathon expo, at the latest the day before the events. A Pasta Party is offered by the marathon organization as an option. To get to the start of the Lisbon marathon, the municipality makes public transport in the city free upon presentation of your bib. This is valid from 6:15 a.m. on race day.

We have selected the LX Boutique Hotel classé 4*. Il jouit d’un emplacement ultra central. Au pied de la pink Street et ses nombreuses animations, il vous permettra de rejoindre de plusieurs points d’intérêt à pied comme le Chiado, le Bairro Alto, le Cais do Sodré ou encore la Baixa Pombalina.
Côté courses à pieds, vous serez logés à seulement 600m de l’arrivée des courses. Pour rejoindre le départ du marathon, la gare que les participants doivent prendre se trouve à 150m.
Rénové dans le plus pure style lisboète, vous profiterez du confort d’un hôtel 4*. L’hitoire de la ville se reflète partout dans cet établissement.
To complete everything, our packages include: petits déjeuners sous forme de buffet (vendredi et dimanche matin) ce qui vous apportera plus de confort durant votre séjour. Le jour du marathon, le restaurant n’étant pas ouvert suffisament tôt, vous pourrez acheter de quoi vous restaurer la veille (bananes, barres energétiques..).
