Marathon presentation
Looking for a demanding test while enjoying thefresh mountain air as well as the discovery of a city full of history, come run the Jerusalem marathon.
Located at an altitude of 754m, Jerusalem offers you a real sporting challenge with its numerous elevation changes over the 42,195km which separate you from the finish of the marathon. You will understand why the Jerusalem Winner Marathon lives up to its name! The organization also sought to highlight its heritage throughout the route. In particular, you will have the opportunity to cross the old town, its alleys and its buildings from another era. You will discover the most beautiful sights of the city such as the Armon Hanatsiv promenade, the Mahané Yehouda souk or the sublime David Tower.
THE start of the marathon as for other races, is located at the intersection of the Knesset parliament and the Jerusalem Museum. As for thefinish of the marathon, you will pass it in the Sacher Park, not far from the Valley of the Cross and the tunnel at the entrance to the city.
If you want to challenge yourself on a shorter circuit, you have the opportunity to participate in the half marathon or 10km. All races take place on the same day with the same start and finish lines so that all athletes enjoy the same panorama in the intense effort offered by the organizer.
On a practical level, know that for supplies, you will have water every 3 km. Oranges and apples will be offered to you at 35th kilometer. A Finisher t-shirt and a medal will be given to you after the effort. Accompanists will be able to easily reach the finish of the races from the start.
You will have understood, between the Jerusalem marathon, the half, the 10 or 5 km, you have the choice between 4 unique events that you won't find anywhere else: a real experience to live!
Furthermore, your marathon or half bib gives you access to the Pasta Party which will take place at the same place as themarathon expo, namely: Cinema City. For other distances or accompanying persons, you can buy your tickets directly at the expo depending on places available.

Located not far from the marathon expo, the Prima Park Jerusalem HOTEL**** will allow you to get to the departure of the races as at the arrival, whenever you want in 20 minutes on foot approximately. Its location is therefore ideal for managing your race as well as possible for those accompanying you. Get to themarathon expo will also be easy since you tighten it 12 min from the hotel. It is located at Cinema City.
Furthermore, it benefits from a bus stop next door as well as a tram station 5 minutes away to facilitate your travel in the city. You can reach the old town in 30 minutes.
