Race organization

Do you offer World Marathon Majors (WWM)?

We offer most of the Marathon Majors. For Boston, we only organize travel for runners who have achieved a qualifying time. We do not offer Tokyo.

Is there a time limit for finishing a marathon?

Yes, each race has a specific time barrier. You will find this information on the page dedicated to each event.

Are the Pasta Party or other events included?

When the Pasta Party or other events are proposed by the organization, we will inform you in your convocation (approximately 2 months before departure). In parallel, we can organize other services (Pasta Party, city tour, excursions…) that you can select when you register on our website.

Trip organization

How do I book a racing holiday with Planet Tours?

You can book online via our website and on the dedicated page. A deposit will be required to confirm the booking, or the full amount if we are close to the departure date. Should you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us: 0140930013

Can I come as a companion without running?

Yes, our trips are open to accompanying persons. Apart from race-related services, they enjoy the same benefits as runners.

What's included in your package?

Our packages generally include: accommodation, race number, on-site assistance, transfers to the start of the race (if provided), and options depending on the destination. Depending on options, transfer from Paris may be selected. Full details can be found on each race page.

Until when can I register?

Registration closes as soon as the number of places is reached, or according to the deadline set by the organizer. This is usually 2 months before the race. Please contact us after this date to check availability.

I'd like to move from the provinces. Is that possible with you?

Our packages with transport depart from Paris. If we travel with Air France, we can request a pre-routing from the airport of your choice. Please request this when you register at the billing stage. In all other cases, we invite you to select the option without transport and organize your trip yourself. You’ll meet the group on site.

What documents do I need to travel?

For EU nationals, the documents required depend on the destination.

Travel within the EU: a valid national identity card or passport is sufficient.
Travel outside the EU: formalities vary from country to country (visa, electronic authorization, etc.). This information is specified in our specific conditions of sale and/or in your convocation sent out around 2 months before departure.

For example, an ESTA is required for the United States.

Do I have to be over 18 to take part?

No. However, minors must be accompanied by an adult to take part in one of our trips.

What happens if I enter my personal information incorrectly?

In the event of an error (e.g. e-mail address, name, date of birth), please contact us promptly to make the necessary corrections. Insurance & guarantees

Do you offer cancellation insurance?

Yes, we offer optional insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and baggage. Full terms and conditions are available on this page (link to insurance page).

What guarantees does Planet Tours offer?

Can I earn Majors with you?

Absolutely. We help you participate in World Marathon Majors and earn their “Six Star Finisher” medal and probably soon 9 😉 from the Abbott WMM program.

Is it possible to extend my stay or change the dates?

Yes, depending on the destination, we can adapt your stay. Add it to your order so that we can study your request.

Do you offer stays for 10 km or half-marathons?

Yes, we also organize stays for half-marathons (e.g. Prague, Lisbon SUPER HALFS) and some 10km races. You’ll find all the details in the “Our Voayages” section.
